During spring 2018, members of the Crenshaw Crossing development team hosted four separate public meetings to seek community feedback, address concerns, and answer questions about the proposed project.
Workshop attendees commented on potential community space uses and programs for development, including programming for seniors and children.
Over the past year, the Crenshaw Crossing development team continued to engage community stakeholders and held a series of small-group meetings to solicit additional feedback on the types of project amenities and features most sought by the community.
The development team gained valuable feedback for future plans, such as Programs for Seniors and a focus on Nature and Public Art

This summer we continued our community engagement efforts by hosting a Local Hire Listening Session, where we received useful feedback on how to create a successful local hire program for temporary and permanent jobs at the Crenshaw Crossing site. We also hosted hundreds of local community members at a meeting in July to provide a project update and discuss how they have significantly influenced the Crenshaw Crossing project.
